I first discovered this book when it was on Kindle Unlimited, so I watched as it was acquired by Atria and was super excited to get my hands on a physical copy.

This is a good mindless read. It's not there to profoundly impact your life. All bad reviews I've seen on it complained about the super simple plot, but honestly, that's what I liked most about it. Every book doesn't have to be as deep as Only When It's Us or Lizzie Blake's Best Mistake.

This book really reminded me of the Off-Campus series but with better writing and BIPOC/Queer Representation. The steam is excellent, and Nathan Hawkins makes me understand the whole #bookboyfriend thing.

I'm excited to see how Hannah Grace writes the rest of the Maple Hills books. I am dying for Henry's story! Look at the adorable goodies I got in my first real PR Package. Hannah's letter confirms that Henry's story is happening :)

Anastasia Allen has worked her entire life for a shot at Team USA.

A competitive figure skater since she was five years old, a full college scholarship thanks to her place on the Maple Hills skating team, and a schedule that would make even the most driven person weep, Stassie comes to win.

No exceptions.

Nathan Hawkins has never had a problem he couldn’t solve. As captain of the Maple Hills Titans, he knows the responsibility of keeping the hockey team on the ice rests on his shoulders.

When a misunderstanding results in the two teams sharing a rink, and Anastasia’s partner gets hurt in the aftermath, Nate finds himself swapping his stick for tights, and one scary coach for an even scarier one.

The pair find themselves stuck together in more ways than one, but it’s fine, because Anastasia doesn’t even like hockey players…right?
